The independent feminist beer brand Muschicraft, based in Austria, has been challenging patriarchy since its founding in 2020. HeimatTBWA\ Germany recognized that it was time to take the next step: elevating Muschicraft’s fight for gender equality to the global stage. Despite recent progress, many believe that gender injustice is no longer a pressing issue, particularly in the Western world, where countries pride themselves as pioneers of equality. However, in more than one-third of countries worldwide, laws still prohibit women from doing things that men are allowed to do.

This is why Muschicraft created The Most Illegal Beer—a beer that defies the laws of over 50 countries simply because it’s made by women. HeimatTBWA\ Germany supported this initiative, bringing together women from around the world to create this beer. These women intentionally violated the sexist laws of their countries by performing tasks forbidden to them but permitted for men, making a bold statement for gender equality.
