Perfect is Personal

The Challenge
Let’s face it—there’s no such thing as “perfect” sex. And honestly, that’s okay! To highlight the mental gymnastics people endure trying to perform like Hollywood stars, the decision was made to delve into those wonderfully awkward moments when sex goes hilariously wrong.
The Solution
Real people were asked to anonymously share their true-life comical tales of less-than-perfect romps. These stories were transformed into eye-catching animations for a campaign with the sexual health charity Brook. The objective? To highlight the often-overlooked realities of sex, destigmatize those “whoops” moments, and challenge the impossible ideals pushed by media and pornography. Because let’s be real, perfection is overrated—laughing about it is way more fun!

The Results
The films quickly became some of Brook’s best-performing content, leading the organization to take the rare step of incorporating them into RSE materials for schools and other institutions. The films successfully debunked the myth of perfect sex perpetuated by culture, helping viewers feel seen. Ultimately, and most importantly, the films alleviated the pressure young Brits feel to have “perfect sex,” fostering better mental health across the country.
