Bug Off Plants

Boysen, the Philippines’ leading innovative paint brand, created BUG OFF, a special paint with Artilin anti-pest technology. Upon contact with the paint, disease-causing flies, cockroaches and mosquitoes are killed. Boysen needed a campaign to dramatize its unique pest-killing ability.

TBWA\SMP launched a campaign that recreates images of carnivorous plants–using BUG OFF paint. A Venus Flytrap consuming a fly and a Pitcher Plant consuming a mosquito were created using multi-colored splashes of BUG OFF paint, captured through high-powered, high-speed cameras in precise trajectories.

This series is the latest iteration to previous Boysen campaigns, “Flowers” and “Creatures.”
